Social and economic benefit of European, Austria and German Art, Culture and Creative Industry [1.643 KB]
Discussing the social and economic benefit of European and German Art, Culture and Creative Industry is difficult from various aspects.
Firstly, it is an achievement of our civilization that not everything has to have an economic value.
Secondly, one has to describe which kind of Art, Culture and Creative Industry should be under examination. Due to the freedom of art one has to be careful not to preclude developments which are not yet mainstream.
Thirdly, collecting data about the social and economic benefit of Art and Culture is not easy. This applies in particular when statistics from various countries are put together even when they are based on different assumptions.
Bearing this in mind APWPT has compiled various statistics on the European, Austrian and German Art, Culture and Creative Industry. Everyone is free to decide which approach one will choose.
The current study presents a first look at a complex European scenario but there remaining many unanswered questions. APWPT kindly ask for your support (see page 3).
