How to allow the deployment of High Definition services, Mobile TV and new broadband wireless communication services by maximizing an efficient usage of digital dividend for France?
The proposed approach will allow to broadcast in band 4 and 5 at least a total number of 32 HD terrestrial services in France (8 multiplex without simulcast) plus one multiplex for mobile TV..

January 2009:
The French Prime Minister released an Order in the Official Journal that the sub-band 790 to 862 MHz be allocated to mobile communications. The French Spectrum Agency CSA is ordered to refrain from making plans to allocate these frequencies to audiovisual services. Exceptions "on a transitory basis" require specific approval by the Government - e.g., to avoid service interruptions or interference with neighboring countries.
